Joe and Anthony, owners of NY Water Pros

We're Joe and Anthony.

We're brothers from Rochester, and we live with the same hard water you do: crusty showerheads, spotty glasses, dry skin and hair. When we looked into fixing it, we found the usual way to buy a system around here is a long in-home sales pitch and a price that moves until you sign.

So we started NY Water Pros to do it straight. We test your water, tell you what's actually in it, and give you one price. The system is installed by a licensed, insured local installer we work with, and we come back 30 days later to retest. If it doesn't pass, we adjust it free.

You'll talk to one of us, not a call center. (585) 270-1833

What we fix

We only recommend what your water test shows you need.

Whole-house water system installed in a basementIron stains before treatmentSame fixture after treatment

Water softener

White crust on faucets, spotty dishes, dry skin and flat hair. A softener removes the hardness minerals for the whole house.

City and well water

Whole-house carbon filter

Chlorine taste and smell at every tap and shower, not just the kitchen sink.

City and town water

Iron & sulfur filter

Orange stains, black streaks and a rotten-egg smell. Stopped where the water comes into the house.

Wells

Drinking water system

Reverse osmosis under the kitchen sink. Bottled-quality water from the tap.

Any home

UV disinfection

Treats bacteria in well water without chemicals. Usually paired with a sediment filter.

Wells, after a bacteria test

Free water test

Hardness, iron, sulfur, pH and dissolved solids at your tap. Certified lab tests for arsenic, bacteria or PFAS on request.

Questions

Is the water test really free?

Yes. No cost, no obligation.

What's the difference between a softener and a filter?

A softener removes hardness minerals (calcium and magnesium) that cause scale, spots and dry skin. A filter removes things like chlorine, iron, sulfur or sediment. Some homes need one, some need both. The test tells you which.

Do you work on city water?

Yes. Hard water and chlorine taste are common on city and town water.

Who does the install?

A licensed, insured local installer we work with. We're your point of contact from the first call through the 30-day retest.

Does the free test check for arsenic, bacteria or PFAS?

No. Those need a certified lab test, which we can arrange.

Do you offer financing?

Yes. Ask when you get your price.
